Saving teeth by means of state-of-the-art root canal treatment

If a tooth is suffering from advanced decay or a large piece has broken off, bacteria invade the interior and cause inflammation of the nerve. Such inflammation may be not only very painful but, left unchecked, will lead to the death of the tooth, sometimes resulting in purulent inflammation of the jawbone. In severe case, the damaged tooth may have to be extracted.

Left untreated, a dead tooth can inflict grave damage (throughout the entire body)

A tooth damaged in such a way can be saved permanently only by means of competent endodontic (root canal) treatment. This procedure involves opening up the affected tooth and very carefully cleaning and disinfecting it from the inside. For root canal treatment we employ a Zeiss dental OP microscope, an instrument that considerably enhances the procedure’s prospects of success.

Procedures based on advanced technology

The tooth is prepared using state-of-the-art flexible titanium and ultrasonic instruments. After being prepared with maximum precision, the core of the tooth is permanently sealed to prevent further bacterial invasion.

A positive outlook: for your teeth and general health

In most cases the method employed guarantees the long-term preservation of the tooth. The effort and expenditure pay off, since replacing a tooth can be expensive as well as uncomfortable.

The sooner you consult us in such cases, the better the result for your overall well-being.
